Public transport
You can buy public transportation tickets in kiosks or from bus drivers. Different choice of tickets is available depending on your needs (one way, one hour, one day ticket). There is a special Tallinn Card available for tourists that grants free use of public transportation.

Parking
The parking in the center of Tallinn as well as in Pärnu and Tartu cities requires payment. There are 3 parking zones in Tallinn. Parking in the Vanalinn (Old Town) zone is of highest price and requires payment round-the-clock. Parking in the city center zones is cheaper and requires payment weekdays 7-19:00, Saturdays 8-15:00. Taxi
Daily fare EEK 5.50 – 90.00 per km. Night fare is higher. All fares are displayed on the right rear side window. There is a price for starting the route, min 25 EEK. Ordering the taxi by phone gives a cheaper fare.

Mobile phones
In order to make local calls cheaper you can buy Estonian SIM-card like SMART or SIMPEL. It is a prepaid SIM card with unique phone number. Charges per minute are around 0.20 EUR per min. When you need to refill your account with extra credit time buy another card and enter pin-code into your cell phone. These cards may cost 0.60 – 32.00 EUR depending on the required credit time.
